Playspace Manager (Memphis, TN)

As a PlaySpace Manager at Little Diggers Memphis, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the playspace, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for children and their families. You'll be responsible for overseeing all activities, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to the success of the playspace.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, including front desk management, play area supervision, and party room preparation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children's play activities.
• Manage the point-of-sale system, financial transactions, and admission processes.
• Implement and enforce safety guidelines, emergency procedures, and company policies.
• Assist with employee onboarding, training, and task delegation.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient shift scheduling and coverage.
• Monitor and address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop marketing strategies and promotions.
• Assist in planning and executing special events, parties, and themed activities.
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor, interacting with customers and staff.
• Act as a point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and issues.
• Maintain records related to daily operations, employee attendance, and incidents.
• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry moderate weight (e.g., supplies, equipment).
• Stamina to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and crouch as needed for various tasks.
